About MInDS

MInDS Mission Statement

Mentoring to Inspire Diversity in Science (MInDS) is a graduate student-run outreach group and an organization founded by the Johns Hopkins PhD Program in Cell, Molecular, Developmental Biology, and Biophysics.

The goal of MInDS is to increase diversity within the CMDB Program and the greater scientific community through impactful conversations about diversity and equity among the CMDB community, direct recruitment of URM students, and outreach initiatives in Baltimore and the surrounding areas. In addition, we aim to encourage K-12 and undergraduate students to pursue careers in science through community-centered events and outreach programs.

You can find us at Mudd Hall, 3400 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21218.
