Turkey-Syria Earthquake: A teach-in

The Program in Racism, Immigration, and Citizenship at Johns Hopkins University presents a panel discussion on the Turkey-Syria Earthquake, featuring scholars and community organizers from the region.
Since February 6, 2023, there has been widespread destruction and loss of life across Southeastern Turkey and Syria. One month on, this panel will discuss the political and economic dynamics of the earthquakes, the aftermath and the conditions on the ground, the needs of the affected, the politics of humanitarianism and solidarity, and ways to support ongoing relief efforts.
