History Lab: Asian Diaspora in Baltimore Student Presentations

Come learn about the innovative research of students involved in the community-engaged History Lab course, “Asian Diaspora in Baltimore.” Research topics include local Baltimore histories of Chinese merchant associations and restaurants in the mid-20th century; Korean-Black relations in the 1990s; differential access to health care among Asians in Baltimore; and more. History Lab members will also reflect on their experiences working with community collaborators, creating public histories, and grappling with dominant narratives of Baltimore.
