Please join St. James Episcopal Church, our host for Jazz in the Square, on the Friday night before the concert at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum to enjoy the showing of a documentary film on the history of the 201 year-old church. In 1824, St. James was the first Episcopal Church established below the Mason Dixon line for Black people to freely worship.  The event will take place on Friday, September 5th, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
