The Physical Sciences Machine Shop is a state-of-the-art facility offering a broad range of machining capability ranging from simple parts to the surfacing of complex 5-axis surfaces. Shop personnel have significant expertise in CNC machining of precision instrument components utilizing the latest Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software, as well as welding and grinding.
