The Johns Hopkins University & University of Maryland Algebra and Number Theory Day will not take place in its current form during the academic year 2025–26, due to the suspension of the NSA’s Mathematical Sciences Program (MSP). Our proposal for renewed NSA support was selected for funding in December 2024, but in April 2025 we were told that “NSA has decided not to proceed with the FY2025 MSP Grant Program.” We hope to be able to resume in future academic years! In the meantime, we will organize two days with talks by our graduate students and postdocs, tentatively scheduled for November 15 (at UMD) and April 18 (at JHU).
