The Second Decade Society (SDS) of the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University invites selected alumni who have demonstrated a capacity for leadership in their professional and personal lives, as well as at the university, to make a lasting impact on the Homewood campus, the school, and its students.
Exposure to the issues influencing the academic environment, access to top faculty and administrators, and flexible volunteer involvement enables members to learn about the school’s challenges and opportunities. Through their gifts of philanthropy, expertise, creativity, and precious free time, members drive improvements to the undergraduate experience, create new opportunities that would otherwise be unattainable to students, and exercise and hone their own leadership skills within the Hopkins community. Membership in SDS is the first step in becoming an alumni leader at the School of Arts and Sciences and the university.
