Promotion of Tenure-Track Faculty
Tenure track appointments are made in expectation of continuous growth to higher levels of scholarly achievement. Promotion is the advancement from one professorial rank to another or the conferral of tenure. To be considered for tenure, the position must comprise both research and teaching, and contribute to the mission of the Academic Council.
