The gatherings aim to create an interdisciplinary environment for scholars across a range of historical subfields to share and discuss new work on the economic, cultural,\u00a0and intellectual history of a market society, its political context, and the role of entrepreneurship\u00a0in the American past and present. Many of the visitors contribute to our ongoing working paper series, and the program will host a conference during the 2016\u20132017 academic year.
