If you&#8217;ve already been trained on an instrument and your experiment has been approved, use the calendar to reserve time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/krescal.jhu.edu\/CMB\">Schedule your time here<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The rules for instrument use are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You can only sign up for&nbsp;<strong>one day at a time<\/strong>&nbsp;for each instrument<strong>.<\/strong><\/li><li>Unless approved by the Center Manager, you can only use instruments between&nbsp;<strong>8:00am and 6:00pm<\/strong>.<\/li><li>When requesting instrument time, put your&nbsp;<strong>name under event and PI under notes<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Always&nbsp;<strong>use the log book<\/strong>&nbsp;associated with each instrument to keep track of usage hours.<\/li><li>Area surrounding instruments must be keep clean. Do not leave personal items at instruments.<\/li><li><strong>No food or drinks<\/strong>&nbsp;are allowed in the instrument areas.&nbsp; Please keep the areas clean and neat.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Report instrument problems<\/strong>&nbsp;immediately to the Center Manager,&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:tripp@jhu.edu?subject=Center%20for%20Molecular%20Biophysics\">Dr. Katie Tripp<\/a>, 410-516-3598.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First-time instrument users should see the&nbsp;First-time User page.
