We are a theory group working on electronic structure theories with applications to chemistry and spectroscopy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our method-development work consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>relativistic quantum chemistry,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>electron-correlation methods.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use the new computational methods to solve problems that cannot be solved before. We are actively working on computational molecular spectroscopy in service of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>(a) quantum sciences,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(b) precision spectroscopy searches of new physics beyond Standard Model,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(c) ultrafast dynamics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Cheng Group!
