Responses to math task in visual cortex of blind people

Shipra Kanjlia and Connor Lane from the Bedny Lab found responses in the visual cortex of blind people to mathematical tasks, using fMRI. These results were published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, and their work was featured in The Atlantic, NPR and New Scientist. It was also featured in some international dailies, including in Business Standard, Siasat, The Times of India and Deccan Herald.
