Miller III Department of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University leads in research across the entire range of astrophysics, from cosmology to galactic structure to planets, using observational, numerical and theoretical methods. CAS astronomers, along with members of the neighboring <a title=\"STScI\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stsci.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Space Telescope Science Institute,<\/a> jointly form one of the largest astrophysics communities in the United States.
