Taking advantage of the opportunity of the March meeting of the APS in Baltimore, MD this spring, we are organizing a 2-day workshop on “Anomalous Transport in Multipolar and Topological Materials” at the Mt. Washington Conference Center. Topics to be discussed include:
The workshop will take place from Friday 3/11-Saturday 3/12 at the Mt. Washington Conference Center, which is 25 min. from the location of the APS meeting.
Please submit your registration, title, and abstract by February 15, 2016. Space is limited so the organizers may not be able to accept all applicants.
This meeting will be a unique opportunity to develop collaborations particularly between between Japanese and North American scientists who share an interest in deepening understanding of transport in quantum materials with multipolar or topological character.
The meeting is sponsored by the JSPS grant for innovative area “J-Physics” and by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. It will be an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the recently launched J-Physics program.
